This year’s Met Gala theme is a tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld, the creative director of Chanel. Anne Hathaway honored Lagerfeld with her outfit – a white Versace gown with a snug fit. The strapless dress has attractive openings on the body, including one that goes up to her thigh. These openings are held together with gold safety pins, a distinctive design feature of the Italian fashion house.
Along with her beautiful dress, Anne Hathaway finished her look by wearing matching tweed opera gloves and white platform pumps. She also added some sparkle to her outfit with a dazzling diamond choker from Bulgari.

Over the years, Anne Hathaway has often been to the Met Gala and walked on the famous red-carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The last time she went was in 2018, and she wore a beautiful Valentino Couture ball gown in bright red to match the theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” The dress had ruffled sleeves, a triangular cutout on the torso, and a big skirt. To complete her look, she wore a gold halo crown on her updo.
